Our Petula Adventures
In the 1960’s my husband and I fell in love with Petula Clark’s music. . We happily attended every one of her Toronto appearances, starting with our first concert in November, 1967.
During our working years, when we could, we ventured further from home to see Petula perform.
But our “Petula Adventures” as we deemed our travel to see Petula perform really began in earnest in our retirement years as the trips became more frequent and for longer periods of time. We travelled through eight countries and three continents, taking in a Petula concert at every stop.
These journeys turned out to be about so much more than the music; they were a chance to experience some places we probably never would have, and to revisit other places that we came to love. It most certainly added a sense of adventure and joy to our lives.
In the end, we owe an immense gratitude to Petula Clark. Without her, none of these travels or treasured memories would exist.
